Abracadabra, Make the Complaints Go Away!

I can’t hear you. This is what a child might say to a parent when they cannot get their way.

So too, the County Commissioners just implemented a new email system; AND, THEY CONTINUE TO REMAIN SILENT.

Reputable and respectful email systems allow for you to get a copy and a record of What you send. Two systems in Wake County, Wake County Government, were first experienced with the Wake County Public Schools system, that is now adopted by the county commissioner, all in an effort to make complaints go away.

A good email system will allow you to enter your concerns and comments, and then will verify your comments and submission by one of many ways. One way is that it will date stamp a printable PDF of your email submission. That is awesome because then you have a record of your submission. Others may send you, to your email address, a copy of exactly everything you submitted, an electronic receipt.

Not so with the new Wake County Commissioners system. They want complaints to “Go AWAY”.

And, they just refuse to even respond in the time they expressed on their own “Response Emails”.

Bottom line, Wake County Commissioners Adopted an Email system that facilitates the destruction and disappearing of complaints and comments. JUST GO AWAY. Here is the proof in terms of links, look for yourself. I sent emails and two weeks later, THE COMMISSIONERS REMAIN SILENT.
